24 August 2026 – After a well-deserved break, R-ace GP returned to the track this weekend for the fourth round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium. It was a remarkable return, as the Vendée-based team finished on the top step of the podium with the #85 car driven by Enzo Peugeot and Danial Frost.
Free practice
On Friday morning, the #86 (Zack Scoular and Léna Bühler) set the 5th fastest time, whilst the #85 (Enzo Peugeot and Danial Frost) finished 7th in Free Practice 1.
Free Practice 2 confirmed the #85’s progress, as it climbed to 2nd place, whilst the #86 finished 7th.
Qualifying
Held in the rain, the qualifying session saw Enzo Peugeot secure 3rd place on the grid for the #85, whilst Zack Scoular qualified the #86 in 9th place.
“We were positioned at the start of the pit lane and we paid the price for that a little during qualifying. It wasn’t a good position, as we weren’t able to complete the final lap, unlike the two rivals who finished ahead of the #85.” Fabien Lavergne, Team Manager.
Race
The first hour of the race was marked by numerous incidents and several safety cars.
The second half of the race went more smoothly. This gave the #85 the chance to move up the order. Thanks to some well-timed overtakes at key moments, the Peugeot/Frost crew maintained a good pace and took the lead. Around fifteen minutes before crossing the finish line, it dropped back to 2nd place. However, the leader was handed a penalty, and victory ultimately went to the #85.
The race proved more challenging for the #86: several incidents and avoidable penalties hampered the Scoular/Bühler crew’s result, and they ultimately finished 14th despite showing real potential.

This new success allows R-ace GP to stay on top of the championship and extend their lead in the overall standings (20 points clear of their nearest rival).
