23 September 2026 – The penultimate round of the Italian F4 season took place this weekend at Misano, with a particularly busy schedule for R-ace GP. Amidst changeable weather conditions, incidents and impressive comebacks, the team’s five drivers experienced mixed fortunes throughout the weekend.
Free Practices
In Series 1, Kenzo Craigie (#34) set the fourth-fastest time in Free Practice 1. The British driver finished P14 in the second session.
In Series 2, Free Practice 1 ended with Andy Consani (#30) in seventh place, whilst James Anagnostiadis (#32) finished in P17. Payton Westcott (#35) and Jensen Burnett (#31) finished in P20 and P21 respectively.
The second session saw several drivers improve their times. Jensen Burnett, in particular, made a significant improvement to finish in P8, just ahead of James Anagnostiadis, who finished in P9. Payton Westcott finished in P15, whilst Andy Consani finished in P19.
Qualifying
Rain then set in during qualifying, making conditions more challenging.
In Series 1, Kenzo Craigie set the seventh-fastest time.
In Series 2, Jensen Burnett put in a fine performance to finish in 5th place. James Anagnostiadis finished in 11th place, Payton Westcott in 13th and Andy Consani in 19th.
Race 1
Kenzo Craigie was forced to retire from the first race of the weekend following a problem with his car. Jensen Burnett finished in 13th place, whilst James Anagnostiadis crossed the finish line in 20th place.
Race 2
Kenzo Craigie put in a great performance. The driver of the #34 car battled at the front of the field and ultimately finished second, securing another podium finish in Italian F4 (his seventh of the season).
Meanwhile, Payton Westcott finished in 18th place, whilst Andy Consani crossed the finish line in 20th place.
Race 3
Jensen Burnett staged a solid comeback to finish sixth overall. This performance saw him claim his first podium in the Rookie category, taking second place.
Andy Consani finished in P15, whilst Payton Westcott once again crossed the finish line in P18. However, she won the women’s category.
James Anagnostiadis finished in P24.
Final race
Kenzo Craigie finished in sixth place, whilst Jensen Burnett came P12 and Andy Consani P19. Payton Westcott was unfortunately caught up in a collision and was unable to finish the race.
Final round at Mugello
The championship finale is set to take place on the last weekend of October at Mugello. It will be a final chance for Kenzo Craigie, Jensen Burnett, James Anagnostiadis, Payton Westcott and Andy Consani to end their Italian season on a high note.
