Formula Regional European Championship

The Formula Regional European Championship (FREC, formerly FRECA) is a single-seater racing championship positioned between Formula 4 and Formula 3 in the motorsport hierarchy. Created in 2021, it is organized by ACI Sport in collaboration with the FIA.

FREC serves as a stepping stone for young drivers towards higher categories, offering competitive races on renowned European circuits.
