
6 October 2025 – The penultimate round of FRECA took place in Germany, at the Hockenheim circuit. It was another successful weekend for R-ace GP. Enzo Deligny took double pole position and won Race 2, while his teammate Akshay Bohra finished second in Race 1. The French team remains at the top of the championship with one round left to go!
Free practice and qualifying 2
Akshay Bohra (#31) finished 6th, Jin Nakamura (#10) 14th and Enzo Deligny (#23) 19th in the first session on Friday morning. In the early afternoon, during the second session, Jin Nakamura and Enzo Deligny improved their times. They finished 7th and 10th, ahead of Akshay Bohra in 13th.
As an exception, qualifying for Race 2 took place on Friday evening. Enzo Deligny put in an exemplary performance to take pole position with a lap time of 1:33.989. Akshay Bohra and Jin Nakamura finished 4th and 6th in Group A.
Qualifying 1
On Saturday morning, Enzo Deligny achieved another remarkable performance, securing pole position for the second time this weekend. The Franco-Chinese driver completed a lap in 1:32.867. His teammates also delivered solid performances: Akshay Bohra finished 2nd and Jin Nakamura 4th in Group A.
Race 1
Akshay Bohra is 2nd on the starting grid, ahead of Enzo Deligny in 5th* and Jin Nakamura in 7th. The race starts behind the safety car due to wet track conditions.
Once the green flag is waved, Akshay Bohra is challenged by a competitor. But the driver doesn’t give up and manages to regain his position. Behind him, Jin Nakamura gains a place and moves up behind Enzo Deligny. The Japanese driver closes in on his teammate and overtakes him. But Deligny is tenacious and fights back to move up to 5th place.
Akshay Bohra fall back to 3rd place. Moments later, he takes advantage of a battle between the two leaders to slip through and take the lead. He pulls away, but is eventually caught and overtaken.
The American-Indian driver crosses the finish line in 2nd place, adding a sixth podium finish to his personal record in FRECA. Enzo Deligny finishes 5th and Jin Nakamura 7th.
* The driver drops four places following a penalty given in the previous round in Barcelona.

Race 2
On Sunday morning, Enzo Deligny starts from pole position. Akshay Bohra is 6th and Jin Nakamura 11th. An incident on the first lap brings out the safety car and rain begins to drizzle on the circuit.
The restart is given about ten minutes later, under clearer skies. Enzo Deligny maintains his lead. Behind him, Akshay Bohra drops back a few places and Jin Nakamura enters the top 10.
With eight minutes to go, a crash brings the safety car back out. The rain also returns, while most of the drivers are on slick tyres. For safety reasons, the race is interrupted by a red flag.
Enzo Deligny wins the race, his fourth of the season. Akshay Bohra finishes 7th and Jin Nakamura 10th.

R-ace GP remains in the lead with one round left on the calendar
The championship victory will therefore be decided in the last two races of the season. With a 65-point lead, R-ace GP heads into the final round at the top of the team standings. Third in the drivers’ standings, Enzo Deligny is still in contention for the coveted title. The team is ready to give its all to bring two new trophies back to Fontenay-le-Comte!
