24 August 2026 \u2013 After a well-deserved break, R-ace GP returned to the track this weekend for the fourth round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium. It was a remarkable return, as the Vend\u00e9e-based team finished on the top step of the podium with the #85 car driven by Enzo Peugeot and Danial Frost.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free practice<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On Friday morning, the #86 (Zack Scoular and L\u00e9na B\u00fchler) set the 5th<\/sup> fastest time, whilst the #85 (Enzo Peugeot and Danial Frost) finished 7th<\/sup> in Free Practice 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free Practice 2 confirmed the #85\u2019s progress, as it climbed to 2nd<\/sup> place, whilst the #86 finished 7th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifying<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Held in the rain, the qualifying session saw Enzo Peugeot secure 3rd<\/sup> place on the grid for the #85, whilst Zack Scoular qualified the #86 in 9th<\/sup> place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were positioned at the start of the pit lane and we paid the price for that a little during qualifying. It wasn\u2019t a good position, as we weren\u2019t able to complete the final lap, unlike the two rivals who finished ahead of the #85.\u201d Fabien Lavergne, Team Manager.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Race<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first hour of the race was marked by numerous incidents and several safety cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second half of the race went more smoothly. This gave the #85 the chance to move up the order. Thanks to some well-timed overtakes at key moments, the Peugeot\/Frost crew maintained a good pace and took the lead. Around fifteen minutes before crossing the finish line, it dropped back to 2nd<\/sup> place. However, the leader was handed a penalty, and victory ultimately went to the #85.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race proved more challenging for the #86: several incidents and avoidable penalties hampered the Scoular\/B\u00fchler crew\u2019s result, and they ultimately finished 14th despite showing real potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The #85 still in the championship lead<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This\u00a0new success<\/a>\u00a0allows R-ace GP to\u00a0stay on top of the championship<\/a>\u00a0and extend their lead in the overall standings (20 points clear of their nearest rival).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
